What to Expect during the dryer vent cleaning

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Not all Dryer Vents are created equal…. some are only 1 foot long, and others can be up to 15 ft – 20 ft. long. Some go through the side and others go through the roof, or contain twists and turns. Due to these situations, we use specially made tools that work with compressed air, in order to break through clogs, get around tight spaces, and clean the dryer vent.

At time of service, both owners will arrive to your home or residence. The first owner will come in, and determine where the dryer is located and if any thing special will be needed. During this time the second owner will be outside determining the location of the dryer vent and getting everything prepared to clean.

When everything is ready, one owner will be inside at the dryer, while the second owner starts the cleaning from the exterior of the residence. (Sometimes the method may vary depending on locations, clogs, and other factors) The Dryer Vent is cleaned from the exterior to the interior wall where the tubing connects from the dryer to the wall. We DO NOT disconnect the tubing from the dryer unless needed, and DO NOT clean the dryer of any lint build up. If we notice this needs to be done, we do recommend Appliance companies that we trust and work with. After the vent has been cleaned, we will pack up our equipment and be on our way.
